We are a married couple, Sara and Kornel, who comes from Požega and Subotica and currently live in Zagreb, Croatia. We recently became the parents of little Isaac who spiced up our lives. Sara has a master’s degree in social pedagogy, and Kornel is studying theology. We got acquainted with the work of Family Life through premarital counseling, and we ourselves experienced the values of that service. We want to continue teaching these values to young couples so that one day they can see healthier marriages and families in Croatia.
Currently we are involved in conducting various trainings and seminars with the Family Life team, like, Emotionally healthy relationships, Walking / day / weekend to remember, [Friday for Marriage] monthly meeting for couples, meetings with young couples who want to go to marriage, as well as through various ways of serving in the local church (mostly with youth and worship, but also in preaching), etc. Also, we are involved in the international initiative Marriage Week in Croatia, which we celebrate every year in the week around Valentine’s Day. And perhaps last to mention, some of our primary goals of the service are to develop different strategies and plans with volunteers from different parts of the country. Thus in our lives we recognize and carry out the Call – commandment of Christ.
