Hi, my name is Nathanael Scott-Perry
I am working with the Global Aid Network (GAiN UK), the humanitarian aid branch of Agapé UK. I have just started on their new apprenticeship scheme and will be working with a number of different churches in the UK. Helping to facilitate packing sessions and strengthen connections with churches and other organisations. I look to be involved with ‘Living and Telling’ as well. That is a program to help equip churches in the UK to be more evangelically mobile. I will likely be assisting in the GAiN Involvement centre or with the van and warehouse too.
I am currently studying for a degree in Applied Theology at Moorlands Bible College (https://www.moorlands.ac.uk). I am in my second year and have been working on placement alongside my studies with Birmingham City Mission (BCM/ https://www.birminghamcitymission.org.uk). During this time I have been involved with street evangelism, working with the ‘homeless’, helping in the food bank, resource centre, charity shop, Christian bookstore, elderly projects, and the Christmas projects. Now I am working with Agapé UK, more specifically GAiN UK.
My wife (Rhenz) is working at a Care Home and is from the Philippines, we have an 8-month-old baby boy called Josiah. Together we are part of Grace Church Stirchley (https://www.gracestirchley.org). Before this, we lived in the Philippines for a while and worked with our church there. We both have worked on OM Ships MV Logos Hope (https://www.om.org/ships/).
We are very excited about this time with GAiN and look forward to how the Lord will lead and help us to grow this year.
