Hi, my name is Nathanael Scott-Perry
I am working with the Global Aid Network (GAiN UK), the humanitarian aid branch of Agapé UK. The UK office of Campus Crusade for Christ International (CCCI). I have just started working full time with GAiN mainly in the Involvement Centre. The Involvement Centre (IC) is our warehouse in Birmingham and where I will spend most of my time, organising and hosting packing sessions with volunteer groups, quality checking and sorting second hand pre-loved good quality items of clothing, bedding, shoes and hygiene products which will be redistributed across the UK to 30+ charities that we partner with and abroad to other countries. The main countries we partner with are Romania, Ukraine, Serbia and Bulgaria. Plus the Water for Life projects in Benin. I will coordinate with the 25+ collection points around the UK and work with the volunteers and charities in the IC.
I have just finished studying for a degree in Applied Theology at Moorlands Bible College (https://www.moorlands.ac.uk). I graduated on the 29th of November last year. During this time of study I have been involved with Birmingham City Mission in street evangelism, working with the ‘homeless’, helping in the food bank etc. But the last two years I have been with Agapé UK (https://www.agape.org.uk) more specifically GAiN UK (https://www.globalaidnetwork.org.uk).
My wife (Rhenz) is from the Philippines and is back at work after finishing her maternity leave, she works part time at St Pauls Convent in Selly Oak, and West Heath Hospital. She has finished her studies with Birmingham South and City College at the Longbridge campus last December and looks to go to Aston University in 2026 to study Adult Nursing. We have two children called Josiah and Ethan. Josiah turned three in January and Ethan turned 1 in February; they are wonderful bundles of joy.
Together we are part of Grace Church Stirchley (https://www.gracestirchley.org). Before this, we lived in the Philippines for a while and worked with our church there. We both have worked on OM Ships MV Logos Hope (https://www.om.org/ships/).
We are very excited about this time with GAiN and look forward to how the Lord will lead and help us to grow together with you!
We are extremely thankful for all your partnership in prayer and financially on a monthly basis and can’t wait to partner with you in this ministry.
May God bless and keep you,
Nathanael, Rhenz, Josiah and Ethan
