My name is Ala Piosik and I come from Poland.
After I had asked Jesus to be my Saviour and Lord, He gave me a desire to help others know His love and salvation. During my almost 30 years on staff I’ve had a privilege to minister to university students in 2 cities in Poland and in Ukraine, our neigbouring country, the former Soviet republic.
Since 2008 I’ve been involved in reaching families in Western Poland. My desire has been to especially help women – why? Because as a woman I understand their needs, and because in Poland women have a big influence in their families and in society. Women can testify about Jesus, about their transformed lives and about their hope.
Women are very concerned about their families. When they come to know God, they want the same for their loved ones. This is true all over the world, but especially in Poland because women feel very responsible for their families.
